82 Chapters to Newcastle (82NC) is an independent bottler. This 15 year old Williamson was bottled in 2021. Williamson is the code for teaspooned Laphroaig: add a spoonful of another malt to the cask and it must be sold as a blended malt rather than under the distillery name. The name nods to Bessie Williamson, Laphroaig's mid-century owner.

Time in ex-Bourbon, fifteen years of it, frames peat heavy with tar and brine.

Bottled undiluted at 57.6%, soft vanilla comes from the ex-Bourbon. Oily peat, iodine and a coastal edge.
