Description

The 2012 Origin was a wider Càirdeas release, 20,000 bottles, its name nodding to the roots of the distillery. A Feis Ile bottling in classic ex-Bourbon form.

Matured in ex-Bourbon at full strength, the smoke comes through medicinal and direct.

At 51.2% the peat carries a mossy note, chocolate, a leafy lift and a faint sweaty edge. A festival Origin Càirdeas.
