Description

The 2024 Càirdeas carried a ten year age statement and a Pedro Ximenez influence, the sweetest of the sherries against the smoke. A festival dram for the Friends of Laphroaig.

PX brings raisin, date and treacle, a dark sweetness layered over the medicinal peat.

At 52.4% the peat is smoky and medicinal, dried fruit, a sherried character, a coal-gas edge and honey alongside. A PX festival Càirdeas.
