For 2023 the festival dram doubled up on wine casks, Port and Madeira together, plum meeting candied citrus against the smoke. A layered Càirdeas.
Port brings plum and cherry, Madeira candied citrus and burnt sugar, the two wines framing the medicinal peat.
At 52.3% the peat is smoky, citrus, a coal-gas note, fresh fruit and a nutty note alongside. A Port and Madeira festival Càirdeas.
