Laphroaig 28 Years Old

A 2018 limited edition splitting its near-three decades between ex-Bourbon and Oloroso. The sherry adds dried fruit to a smoke long since mellowed by age.

Twenty-eight years and a turn in Oloroso bring fig and raisin from the cask's melanoidins, the peat now soft.

At 44.4% the medicinal smoke is gentle, citrus, dried fruit, a malt note and moss alongside. A mature sherried release.
