Laphroaig 25 Years Old Cask Strength Edition 2021

At twenty-five years Laphroaig's smoke has long since turned waxy and soft, and the annual Cask Strength Edition bottles that maturity without dilution. This is the 2021 release, matured in ex-Bourbon.

The decades in oak, much of it in the seaside warehouses, settle the peat into a deep, mellow base.

At 51.9% the medicinal smoke is gentle, vanilla from the bourbon oak over a waxy base. The character runs to old wood, a coal-gas note, cooked fruit and fresh fruit.
