Description

After the 18 was discontinued in 2015, this 2024 cask strength bottling brings it back. The smoke is mature but lively, with a fresh oak influence the older releases lacked.

Eighteen years in ex-Bourbon soften the peat, a malt-extract sweetness and new wood showing alongside.

At 48% the medicinal smoke carries citrus, vanilla and chocolate, a modern reading of an old favourite.
