Description

A single cask of just 276 bottles, finished in Madeira and released in 2023. The fortified wine gives Laphroaig a candied, slightly burnt-sugar sweetness that plays off the smoke.

Seventeen years and a Madeira finish bring candied citrus and a burnt-sugar tang, the cask adding colour and depth to a mature spirit.

At 54.9% the peat stays medicinal under the Madeira fruit, a nutty edge on the close. A single-cask rarity.
