Description

A 2007 World Duty Free release of just 300 bottles, matured fully in Oloroso and left at cask strength. This is Laphroaig's sherried side at full power.

Twelve years in Oloroso loads the spirit with fig, raisin and a walnut dryness from the cask's melanoidins, and at 53.1% none of it is diluted.

The peat stays medicinal beneath the deep sherry, smoke and dried fruit interlocking. A travel retail rarity from the late 2000s.
