A rare European bottling under the old Unblended Islay Malt designation, distinguished by an unusually fruity profile, citrus and fresh fruit lifting over the smoke, with a kippery edge underneath.

Laphroaig's long 72-hour fermentation builds the esters behind that fruit; ten years in ex-Bourbon the malt kilned over Islay peat did the rest.

At 43% the peat stays medicinal and smoky, the citrus, nuts and honey marking this out among the vintage Unblended editions.
