Distilled at Aberfeldy and matured 15 years across multiple Oloroso sherry casks (numbered 508, 511, 520 through 522, and 524), bottled by John Dewar & Sons in 2019 at 43% under the Exceptional Cask Series Small Batch for event market distribution. 4,800 bottles in total. This represents the largest bottle count in the Small Batch programme catalogue to date, drawn from a five cask vatting and distributed through John Dewar & Sons' event channel which handles bottlings tied to industry events, festivals or trade gatherings, rather than the standard European specialist trade.

Long fermentation Aberfeldy wash from the four still configuration, distilled under John Dewar & Sons (Bacardi) ownership. Filled into multiple Oloroso sherry casks across the five cask range and aged 15 years at the distillery's warehouses. Vatted for the Small Batch event release and bottled at 43% with reduced chill filtering and no caramel adjustment under the ECS Small Batch house specification.

Fifteen years across multiple Oloroso butts produces a developed sherry signature with strong vatting smoothing across the five cask range: melanoidins from prior sherry reduction in the staves contribute walnut and dried fig, ellagitannins and gallic acid from European oak supply tannin grip, and oxidative acetal compounds build baked fruit notes. Aberfeldy's house esters (ethyl laurate, ethyl myristate, heavier alcohols) hold the heather honey base through the sherry contact, with the larger vatting integrating cask variation more evenly than smaller batch releases.
