Arran spirit distilled 1996 and matured 15 years in single Oloroso cask 1910, bottled at 56.4% in the Sherry Cask series for the Italian market in 2012 from an outturn of 252 bottles. From the Sherry Cask single cask programme, an earlier distillery selected single cask series running through the early 2010s that bottled individual sherry casks at the fifteen to sixteen year point, distinct from the post 2019 Bodega expression.

Description
The Sherry Cask single cask programme at Arran ran through the early 2010s before the formalised Bodega permanent range expression replaced ad hoc sherry cask bottlings in 2019. The earlier series presented individual Oloroso seasoned casks at fifteen to sixteen years old, drawing on the maturing inventory of sherry cask filled spirit from the mid 1990s. Cask 1910 from the 1996 vintage was bottled in 2012 for the Italian market.
Spirit was distilled at Lochranza in 1996 and matured fifteen years in a single Oloroso seasoned cask. Bottled in 2012 at the natural cask strength of 56.4% without chill filtration and without added colour, with the 252 bottle outturn reflecting the working yield of the single Oloroso cask at fifteen years.
Fifteen years of Oloroso cask maturation produces well integrated sherry compound development, with sotolon, furfural and the oxidised polyphenol fraction from the original wine ageing developed alongside the underlying Arran spirit signature from the 1996 distillation year. The 56.4% cask strength preserves the full lipid fraction and the textural weight that long aged Oloroso single casks deliver.
