Description
Zoladkowa Czysta de Luxe is produced at the Stock distillery in Poland, following an old recipe but with modern kit. It is distilled from grain across a six-phase process, which steadily separates the cleaner heart of the spirit from harsher fractions, then filtered several times through quartz to pull out the last of the impurities and lift the clarity. Grain gives it a neutral, slightly soft backbone rather than a heavy character, and at 37.5% it sits on the lighter, easier side of the strength range. The liquid is crystal clear with a balanced profile.
The nose is fine and restrained, the palate is balanced and soft, and the finish is long. This is a vodka built for the Polish way of drinking it, ice-cold and with food, so keep the bottle in the freezer and pour small measures alongside herring, pickles or smoked sausage. The quartz-polished cleanness means it cuts through oily, salty bites without leaving any burn, which is exactly the job a table vodka is meant to do.
