This single cask bottling from Yuza Distillery in Yamagata was distilled in 2019 and released in 2022 as an event release, representing the kind of individual cask transparency that Yuza's small-batch programme makes possible. Founded in 2018 by Kinryu, the distillery produces elegant, precise single malts from its coastal Yamagata site.
Maturation in an Oloroso Sherry Butt gives this 3 Years Old expression its defining character: rich dried fruits, warming baking spice and a dark, resinous depth that complements Yuza's naturally clean and fruit-forward new make.
