Yoichi 10 Years Old Cask 234426 is a single cask single malt from Nikka's Yoichi distillery in Hokkaido, bottled at cask strength for the Japanese domestic market in a 500ml format. Single cask releases of Yoichi are drawn directly from individual barrels without blending or dilution, offering the clearest possible reading of the distillery's coal-fired pot still character at a specific point in time.

Ten years in an Ex-Bourbon cask in the cool, maritime climate of Hokkaido's Sea of Japan coast builds the typical Yoichi framework: firm malt, peat smoke, a coastal salinity and an oily, almost waxy texture from the direct-fired distillation. At 62%, all of that character is present at full intensity, with the wood integration of a decade giving just enough baked fruit and vanilla to frame the spirit's weight.
