Description
YEYO Tequila Blanco is a 100% agave blanco from the Feliciano Vivanco distillery, NOM 1414, in Arandas in the Los Altos highlands of Jalisco, the same house where ArteNOM 1414 is made. It is the work of founder Jon Bullinger alongside distillery owner Sergio Vivanco and master distiller Sergio Cruz, built on family estate agave farmed without pesticides or fertilisers, and verified additive-free by Tequila Matchmaker.
The agave is cooked in brick ovens for more than fifty hours, fermented over a long period, then distilled twice in copper pot stills and bottled unaged to show the highland fruit. The result is generous cooked agave with citrus, pepper and a green, grassy, floral lift, edged with earthy minerality, a hint of cinnamon and a touch of mint. The palate is delicate and clean, with rich floral citrus and agave notes. Bottled at 40%.
