This Special Cask Series bottling is Worthy Park's own 10 Year Old from 2010, finished in Port casks. As a single estate, 100% pot still rum it carries the distillery's clean, precise house character, here taken in a fruitier, wine influenced direction.

Worthy Park's moderate, fermentation driven esters keep the base fruity rather than solventy, and the Port shapes it toward red fruits, with citrus, light honey and a tea like dryness over moderate funk. Roasted and spicy notes carry through a sour, red fruited finish. Bottled unsweetened at 45%, it is softer and more approachable than the estate's cask strength releases without becoming a sweet wine finish, a gentle, Port forward introduction to Worthy Park for drinkers more interested in easy sipping than full power.
