Windspiel London Dry Gin

Windspiel Manufaktur works out of the Volcanic Eifel, a German region of fertile volcanic soils and a long potato tradition. That tradition is the gin's secret: rather than grain, the base spirit is distilled from regional potatoes, which gives Windspiel its notably soft, rounded structure. Built as a true London Dry with no artificial flavourings, it took gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2020.

The nose opens on juniper, fresh citrus and fine herbal spice; the palate is full-bodied and balanced, with strong juniper, bright citrus, coriander and elegant peppery accents carried by that silky potato base. The finish runs long, fresh and harmonious. Pour into a classic gin and tonic with a good Indian tonic and a twist of grapefruit peel, or a sprig of rosemary.
