Wilhelm Himbeerlikör

Wilhelm Himbeerlikör is a fruit liqueur from Wilhelm Spezialitäten, a family business on the Styrian Apple Road in Austria that has made natural gourmet products for over 30 years. In its own farm shop the family works selected ingredients into fine spirits using sustainable methods, and this raspberry liqueur is made from freshly harvested berries processed at full ripeness. It is bottled at a gentle 18% ABV, in the soft, sweet fruit liqueur style.

The nose carries intense, fresh and fruity raspberry, the palate is sweet and rich with a distinct raspberry note, and the finish is long with a pleasant sweetness, with a light apple nuance in the supporting profile. Behind the bar it brings sweetness, deep red colour and ripe berry body, which makes it a ready base for summer cocktails, a raspberry lift in a spritz or sour, and a fruity sweetener in long drinks. As a dessert companion it pairs with dark chocolate and vanilla ice cream. A cool serving temperature intensifies its character, so serve it chilled or neat over ice to keep the raspberry vivid.
