With no maturation, the profile is pure distillery character. The aroma is ester, funk, tropical fruit and fruity overripe notes, the palate keeps that ester and tropical fruit with an overripe edge, and the finish runs fruity, citrussy, spicy and warm. It is very funky and fruity without being overwhelming, with just a little youthful harshness. The marque points to the lighter end of Hampden's range rather than its heaviest, but the character is unmistakable.
