Description
Vivir Tequila Blanco is a 100% Blue Weber tequila made in the highlands of Jalisco for an independent British brand that has bottled in Mexico since 2019. As a blanco it is bottled at or near distillation, which leaves the highland agave and the distillery's hand on full display rather than any cask influence.
The agave is harvested only after roughly nine years in the iron rich red clay of Los Altos, then cooked in masonry hornos and worked with volcanic spring water. The slow ripening typical of the highlands pushes the profile toward ripe, rounded sweetness, and the glass follows suit: floral and faintly creamy on the nose, then fresh cooked agave with cucumber, lime and a green herbal lift, closing with a light pepper tickle. Bottled at 40%.
