Viñas del Vero Rosado Selección de Varietales 2025

Viñas del Vero is a leading estate in the D.O. Somontano, set at the foot of the Pyrenees in northeast Spain where altitude and a continental climate shape fresh, aromatic wines. This rosado is a selection of red and white varieties grown across the estate's vineyards, where cool mountain air and a wide day to night temperature range slow ripening and protect the natural acidity that gives the wine its freshness and pale, bright colour. The grapes are harvested young and the wine is made in a youthful, unoaked style, with gentle pressing to keep the colour delicate and a cool fermentation to preserve the primary fruit aromatics. The wine shows a bright strawberry hue with bluish highlights and a nose of red and white fruit with a sweetly fruited lift. The palate is fresh and dry, with red berry, pear and melon fruit, a clean citrus line and an easy, fruit driven finish. Serve it well chilled at 8 to 10 degrees in a white wine glass. It is an approachable, versatile rosé that works as an aperitif or with light summer food.
