This is a Neisson rum bottled by Velier, pairing one of Martinique's most respected family distilleries with the most prestigious name in collectible rum. Neisson distils from fresh pressed sugar cane juice on the island's only rum AOC, and this release is aged sous bois, in oak, under a heavy number three char that points toward a darker, more toasted register.

The Ti Tak Bwa designation and the char level both signal wood driven character built on a grassy, peppery agricole core, the spice and toasted oak typical of an aged Martinique cane juice rum. Bottled at 54 percent, it should read dry and structured, the Neisson distillate and the heavy char in conversation rather than softened by sweetness.
