A Tullibardine single malt, an independent Cadenhead's bottling matured to 12 year old from 2012 and bottled at 46%. Tullibardine, established in 1949 beneath the Ochil Hills at Blackford, is known for its wine cask finishes. Water comes from the Ochil Hills springs, the same source as the Highland Spring bottled water.

Distilled on soft Highland spring water, building the gentle Tullibardine style. Maturation in a sherry cask laid dried fruit over the honeyed malt. Still young, the malt is honeyed and fruity with a soft spice. Long, gentle ageing turns the fresh fruit towards honey and a soft spice. It is one of few distilleries to distil, mature and bottle entirely on the one site. Delme-Evans, a noted gravity flow designer, also drew up the Jura and GlenAllachie distilleries. The malt also feeds the Highland Queen blend, another brand in the Picard stable.

At 46% it is supple and mellow. The Palo Cortado adds a dry, nutty, savoury note, and vanilla, toffee and orchard fruit meet honeyed oak sweetness underneath. Soft orchard fruit and vanilla sit behind the sweetness. A honeyed, lightly spiced finish lingers. This is the soft Highland malt of Blackford.
