Trois Rivières Rhum Blanc Agricole

Trois Rivieres traces its estate roots in Martinique back to 1660 and is now distilled at the La Mauny site, with this unaged Blanc Agricole made from fresh-pressed sugarcane juice under the island's AOC. It carries no added sugar, as the appellation demands, and sits at a versatile 50 percent.

Column distilled low to keep the green cane congeners intact, it shows the hallmark agricole freshness: sugarcane sap, citrus, a touch of floral and that fresh-cut grass note. The palate is dry and vegetal with a peppery snap, finishing on hay and lime. This is a workhorse white rather than a contemplative sipper, at its best in a Ti Punch or daiquiri where its clean cane character and citrus edge do the talking.
