Trois Rivières Magnum Millésime 1980

Trois Rivieres Magnum Millesime 1980 is a vintage agricole from Trois Rivieres, a Martinique estate dating back to 1660, presented in a large magnum bottle and dated to the 1980 harvest. It is made from fresh-pressed sugar-cane juice and distilled low on a Creole column in the agricole manner.

Bottled unsweetened at 45%, it is a dry, long-aged cane spirit. Tropical maturation at origin works quickly and deeply, so a vintage of this age typically shows a grassy agricole core wrapped in vanilla, baking spice, toasted oak, cocoa and leather, drier and more spice-forward than a sweet molasses rum. A collectable old Martinique pour for sipping neat.
