Takamaka Rum Blanc comes from the Trois Freres distillery on Mahe in the Seychelles, the island producer behind the Takamaka name. This is the unaged white, bottled at 40.2% and built for freshness and mixing rather than barrel depth.

The nose is citrus forward with lime, lemon and a frank alcoholic lift typical of a young white spirit. The palate keeps that lemon lime brightness and adds an oily, slightly waxy texture, while the finish turns grassy with a touch of peach and cinnamon. It is a clean, zesty island white that does its best work in a cocktail, a Ti Punch style serve or a long citrus drink, where its lime character and easy strength shine. Straightforward and refreshing rather than complex.
