Don Omario's Vintage is a Travellers Distillery bottling from Belize, a ten-year molasses rum at an easy 40%. It is an approachable, low-key rum in the gentle, accessible mould, built for relaxed drinking rather than to make a strong statement.

Matured in ex-bourbon oak, the nose shows vanilla, coconut, almond and caramel, while the palate turns lightly smoky and sweet, with wood and vanilla. The finish carries wood, herbal notes, a faint peaty edge and a supple texture. The overall character is soft and drinkable, with coffee, dates and a touch of spice, though it stays understated and rarely raises its voice. It works best as an undemanding everyday pour or in simple mixed drinks, suiting drinkers who like gentle, no-surprises rum. Those used to bolder or funkier bottles may find it a little tame for sipping neat.
