Too Tasty ON-OFF is a London Dry made by the Too Tasty distillery in Austria, an outfit that likes to play modern flavours against classic ones. The gin is produced in small artisanal batches from a careful botanical selection, and its signature trick is a flavour that shifts between a citrus-forward brightness and a more restrained, spicy register — the 'on-off' of the name.
The nose is all fresh citrus with a fine herbal spiciness behind it. The palate is full-bodied and balanced, lemon and lime up front, peppery coriander and angelica root giving it grip and a green herbal freshness. It finishes long and clean with a light peppery hum. Serve it over ice with a wedge of fresh lime, or build it into a sharp Gin Fizz alongside grilled fish.
