Les Rhums de Ced builds rhum arrange by macerating fruit in rum, and this organic Orange Citron leans on orange and lemon over an agricole base from Martinique. It is a flavoured infusion rather than a straight cane-juice rum, and is best approached on those terms.

Citrus dominates throughout, with lemon and lemon peel more prominent than the orange, bright and zesty on both nose and palate. The cane-juice base, distilled on a column still, sits well in the background beneath the fruit and added sweetness. At just 21% it is light and soft, closer to a citrus cordial than a sipping rum, and openly sweet. This is a cheerful, lemon-forward arrange for chilled sipping or a splash in a cocktail, honest about being a sweet, low-proof citrus maceration rather than a dry spirit.
