Distilled from molasses on the pot still and matured in ex-bourbon oak in Europe, the continental ageing rounds the spirit without flattening its fruit. The aroma is banana, pineapple, tropical fruit and ester, the palate turns roasted with banana, tropical fruit and pineapple, and the finish keeps mango, leather, ester and tropical fruit. The esters are present but never overdone, leaving room for the distillery's grilled banana signature alongside roasted, leathery depth. A polished, fruit forward Worthy Park for drinkers who want mature Jamaican character without extreme funk, best sipped neat with a little air.
