Barbados rum typically lands balanced and approachable, a pot-and-column blend showing toffee, ripe banana, vanilla and soft baking spice, fruitier than Cuban and far gentler than Jamaican. As a summer release at standard strength, expect an easy-drinking, rounded island pour suited to relaxed sipping and mixing rather than a heavyweight cask-strength bottling.
