The Wild Parrot bottled this single cask 1994 Demerara from the Enmore estate to mark a tenth anniversary, with 26 years of age. The marque reads in the contested Enmore and Versailles wooden-still vein, so the dependable read is that dark wooden-still character rather than a single asserted code.
Matured in ex-bourbon and bottled unsweetened at 50.4%, it is concentrated and richly woody. Dried plum, dark chocolate and licorice lead, with leather and tobacco behind and a very long finish, the alcohol seamlessly absorbed at this strength.
