Twelve years in ex-bourbon oak give it a notably expressive, aromatic profile that goes well beyond the usual tropical-fruit shorthand.

The nose is floral and layered, violet and banana with orange and a solvent lift, and the palate turns to banana, apricot, custard and baked pastry, soft and dessert-like in its fruit. The finish is where it gets distinctive, grass and lavender giving way to cinnamon and a touch of tar. Bottled at cask strength, 59%, and without added sugar, it shows Worthy Park in an unusually perfumed, layered mood.
