The whisky gives it a deeper flavour base than a plain neutral cream liqueur, lending a malty backbone beneath the cream. As a dairy cream emulsion it sits among the chilled dessert styles, served cold and finite in life once opened rather than cellared like a spirit.
The nose is sweet and smooth with vanilla custard, milk chocolate, subtle spice and a hint of malt. The palate is creamy, sweet and round with cream, toffee, vanilla, light spice and a gentle whisky influence, the finish mild, soft and pleasantly sweet with a slight warmth.
