The Macallan A Night on Earth: The Journey is the second release in the “A Night on Earth” series, launched in 2021. It was created in collaboration with Chinese mixed-media artist Nini Sum, whose packaging design reflects the different stages of the journey home to reunite with loved ones for New Year celebrations. Sum’s artwork is inspired by the vibrant streets and personal memories of festive gatherings during the Chinese New Year, symbolized by bright colors, fireworks, and urban settings.

Description
This limited-edition single malt is matured in a combination of first-fill American ex-bourbon barrels, as well as European and American oak sherry-seasoned casks. Bottled at 43% ABV, the whisky is described as having aromas of toasted oak, citrus fruits, creamy vanilla, and coconut milk pudding, leading to a palate of lemon, lime, toasted coconut, and a sweet, oaky finish.
