Description
Amber is matured in a combination of first-fill and refill sherry casks, both American and European oak, giving it a delicate balance of citrus, vanilla, and subtle spice. It has a smooth profile with notes of green apples, cinnamon, and dried fruits. This expression was discontinued around 2018, along with the rest of the 1824 Series, as The Macallan redesigned its range and introduced a new lineup focusing on Sherry Oak, Double Cask, and Triple Cask matured whiskies.
