Description
The Illusionist Distillery built this FC Bayern Munich edition around the club's nickname, La Bestia Negra, the Black Beast. Distilled in Munich in a traditional Arnold Holstein copper pot still, it pours a deep blackberry black, then shifts dramatically to FC Bayern red when tonic is added. Eleven botanicals make up the bill, with juniper, blackberry, red clover and lime at its heart, and the run is limited to just 2,500 numbered bottles.
The nose offers juniper, blackberry, fresh lime, floral notes and subtle herbs. The palate is harmonious and complex, juniper and blackberry threaded with red clover, bright lime and elegant spice, before a long, fresh, balanced finish. Build the G&T to enjoy the colour change, then garnish with fresh blackberries and a slice of lime.
