Tenjaku Craft Gin

Tenjaku Craft Gin is made by Minami Alps Wine and Beverage in Japan, the bottle marked with characters for the hibari, or skylark, the spring messenger whose clear song inspired the spirit. More than ten Western botanicals are blended together with the restraint that marks Japanese distilling, aiming for balance and depth rather than any single loud note, all carried on soft mountain water.

The nose is fresh, lemon peel and lime over tart herbs and a light floral lift. The palate is full-bodied yet delicate, floral tones meeting the gentle spice of coriander and a refreshing citrus thread, before a smooth, clean finish that lingers long and elegant. Pour with tonic and a slice of lemon, or use as the base for a crisp, fragrant Martini.
