This Flying Dutchman release sees That Boutique-y Rum Company bottle pot still rum from the Netherlands' Zuidam distillery, an honest, no additive single distillery rum from a name better known for its whisky and genever. At 55.6% cask strength and just four years old, it shows youthful power channelled through heavy pot still character.

The profile is dark and savoury, leather, walnut, molasses and a sherryish edge on the nose, then molasses, licorice and roasted nuts on the palate, before a finish that turns woody, roasted and faintly meaty with a bacon and metallic note.
