That Boutique-y Rum Company, curated under Atom Brands, is known for honest no additive single casks and its playful illustrated labels. This 1991 Uitvlugt was distilled at the closed coastal estate, aged 26 years in ex-bourbon and bottled at a full 53.2%.
Logged here as pot still, it carries more weight than the lighter Savalle column rum often associated with Uitvlugt. Expect a richer, woody profile of dark fruit, brown sugar and spice, deepened by more than a quarter century in oak. Unsweetened and bottled at natural strength, it is a purist's pour from a closed Guyanese estate, finite and not coming back.
