This release comes from That Boutique-y Rum Company, the UK bottler curated by Peter Holland known for honest, additive-free casks under playful labels. Vintage 2009 and aged 13 years in ex-bourbon oak, it is bottled at 50.5%. Foursquare blends rich double-retort pot still with cleaner Coffey column rum, oak aged, for a balanced Bajan profile, and the record suggests this cask leans unusually floral and grassy, with an almost agricole-like, soft fruity character alongside the expected toffee, banana and vanilla.
