This is a secret Beenleigh single cask, bottled by the UK's That Boutique-y Rum Company, whose honest, additive free selections and playful labels have made them a trusted name for adventurous single casks. The distillery is Australia's historic Beenleigh, the rum distilled on a pot still from molasses, vintage 2007 and given fourteen years in Ex-Bourbon oak before bottling unsweetened at a hefty 65.7%.

At full cask strength this is a bold, characterful Australian pot still rum. The nose pairs fruity confections with a distinctive eucalyptus note that nods to its origin, while the palate stays fruity and confected with apple and a clear spirit warmth that wants a drop of water. The finish takes an herbal, medicinal turn with citrus, giving the whole an intriguing, slightly camphorous signature.
