Tatratea Peach Tea Liqueur

Tatratea is a Slovak tea liqueur range from the Tatra mountains, built on black tea plus mountain herbs across a wide strength ladder. The Peach edition sits in the upper middle at 42%, made in the house style with black tea, oak shavings and selected herbs and spices, carrying the Tatra heritage of simple herbal infusions reworked into a modern liqueur. Ripe stone fruit colours the familiar tea and herb base.

The nose is fresh peaches with tea aromas. The palate is floral with sweet honey and dried peaches, the finish long, with lemon, citrus peel and cinnamon among the supporting notes. At 42% it sits in the stronger half but stays workable in a mix at a measured pour. It brings ripe peach sweetness, honeyed body and a tea backbone to a glass, a natural fit for an iced tea highball, a peach forward long drink or a place over soda. It can also be enjoyed neat or on ice, or stirred into a favourite tea. The stone fruit makes it an easy partner for summer serves over ice.
