Tatratea Flower Tea Liqueur

Tatratea is a Slovak tea liqueur range from the Tatra mountains, built on black tea plus mountain herbs across many strengths. The Flower edition sits high on the ladder at 47%, made with black tea, oak shavings and selected herbs and spices in the house style, carrying the Tatra heritage of simple herbal healing infusions reworked into a modern liqueur. Floral character leads while the tea and herb base anchors it.

The nose is fruity and floral. The palate is strong and balanced with floral notes and herbs over the black tea base, the finish long, with honey, lemon and cinnamon among the supporting notes. At 47% it is firmly in the stronger half of the range, so a smaller measure delivers plenty of aroma and structure. It brings floral lift, honeyed sweetness and tannic tea grip to a drink, useful where an aromatic top note is wanted over a tea backbone. It suits a measured pour over ice, a long build with tea or soda, or a careful place in a cocktail. Balance the strength when mixing.
