Takamaka Zepis Kreol Rum

Takamaka Zepis Kreol is part of the brand’s St André Series, a range built around rum made and bottled in Seychelles at La Plaine St André. This expression starts with a base of Takamaka molasses rum combining pot still and column still distillates, giving both weight and clarity.

The “Zepis” (spices) element comes from an infusion of locally grown herbs and spices, bringing a clear Creole spice signature rather than generic sweetness. After infusion, the blend is lifted with 8 year old rum from Foursquare, Barbados, adding mature oak driven structure and deeper caramelised notes. The final marriage is rested in ex bourbon barrels, helping the spice compounds and oak extractives settle into a more cohesive profile.

Flavour profile: bold aromatic spice on the nose, then cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and hazelnut like richness through the palate, with lingering vanilla and gentle tropical fruit notes on the finish.
