Takamaka Zannannan Liqueur

Takamaka Zannannan is produced at Trois Frères Distillery on Mahé in the Seychelles and bottled at 25% ABV. It’s a pineapple rum liqueur built by combining Takamaka rum with a pronounced tropical fruit layer, designed to deliver clear pineapple aroma and sweetness while keeping a recognisable rum backbone underneath.

The pineapple element brings the main flavour impact, giving juicy fruit intensity and a bright acidic lift, while the rum base adds warmth, texture and length so it doesn’t drink like a simple fruit cordial. At 25%, it’s structured for easy mixing, letting you build flavour in long drinks without the alcohol dominating or drying the drink out.

In cocktails, Zannannan performs best where pineapple is meant to be the headline. It works cleanly with soda or tonic, with ginger beer, or alongside citrus for highball style serves. It also slots naturally into tropical builds where you want strong pineapple character with more depth than a standard pineapple syrup.
