Sauvignon Blanc shows up early, all grapefruit and blackcurrant bud over a floral lift of elderflower and violet. Made by Bordeaux winemaker François Lurton, who built a gin around the aromatics of his favourite white grape. Fresh and elegant, with juniper holding firm beneath the fruit.

Description
Sorgin means witch in Basque, a nod to the small magic François Lurton worked here. A renowned French winemaker, he set out to fold the fruity, floral signature of Sauvignon Blanc into a classic gin. Around the juniper sit violet root and angelica, then citrus, blackcurrant buds and elderflower, the same green, aromatic notes you would find rising from a glass of cool white wine. The two worlds meet without either losing its voice.
The nose is fruity and floral, Sauvignon Blanc notes braided with citrus, juniper and fine herbs. The palate stays soft and elegant, grapefruit and blackcurrant to the fore with only a light spice. It finishes fresh and long, fruit-driven but pinned by a clear juniper structure. Pour it into a G&T with a dry tonic and a twist of grapefruit, or build it into a French 75 where the wine notes can sparkle.
