A 7 Years Old single malt from Sliabh Liag Distillers in Co. Donegal, distilled in 2017 and bottled in 2024 for the Légendes Des Circuits series of Bottles & Legends, an independent bottler working the Belgian market. Just 100 bottles were filled, making this one of the scarcer looks at Donegal malt.
Maturation stayed entirely in ex-Bourbon casks, which leaves the malt's own character exposed: honey, orchard fruit and cereal over vanilla, with a light coastal edge in the northwest house style. At a natural 57.4% it is undiluted and unhurried, softening with water into barley sugar and lemon, a straight look at Irish malt at full strength with nothing hidden behind heavy wood.
