Sea Shepherd Gin Blue Ocean Edition Batch 002

Kirsch Import built this batch in partnership with Sea Shepherd, the organisation that chases poachers and confronts whalers on the open water, and ten per cent of every sale goes straight to that cause. The gin carries a colour-changing trick, shifting from blue to violet when tonic is poured, meant to echo the depth and mystery of the ocean it helps protect.

The nose leads with citrus, juniper and a little berry, while the palate brings a clear saline edge alongside juniper, citrus and the soft floral note of cornflowers. It finishes long and clean, that sea-salt character lingering. Serve it tall with tonic and a twist of lemon to watch the colour turn, or keep it simple over ice.
